Mudgee Residence

A new home built 5 minutes out of the growing bustle of Mudgee NSW.  The footprint longer in width following the contour of the block and taking advantage of the Easterly view of the river and the Mudgee township in its backdrop.

The house is constructed of brick, colorbond roof and timber posts with a palette that appropriately blending into its rural environment.  

The floorplan carefully considered the needs of the owners.  With their kids now off living their own lives, the guest quarters can be totally shut off, making the home more efficient to live as a couple and to heat and cool.

The reclaimed tallowood floorboards inside provided a warm toned canvas for the clients collection of antique furniture and classic fabric upholsteries.  The joinery throughout supplied and installed, by Pulse Kitchen & Interiors of Tamworth, maintained a simple streamlined style matching in with the Dulux Whisper White wall colour so to not standout as a feature against the lovely furniture and décor owned by the client.
